What should I bring with me to a physical?

What should I expect during physicals?

Vital signs check

Your specialist evaluates your vital signs, including your pulse, blood pressure, and temperature during a vital signs check. They also discuss symptoms you may have and your medical history, including past diagnoses, treatments, medications, and lifestyle habits. 

Medical exams

Your provider completes a medical exam to assess your overall health. They evaluate your heartbeat, breathing, eyes, ears, throat, neck, limbs, reflexes, and more.

Health screenings

Health screenings you might need include onsite labs to assess your cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar, or other disease risk factors. You may complete vision screenings, hearing screenings, or drug testing, depending on the type of physical you undergo. Care10 Urgent Care also offers onsite X-rays as needed.

Treatments

If you need treatment for an acute illness, chronic disease, or minor injury, Care10 Urgent Care offers solutions. They may recommend vaccinations, prescription medications, minor injury care, or treatment from a specialist. They fill out any required physical exam forms. 

How often should I schedule a physical?
